The Department of Private Schools Office at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) held a training workshop for 21 private schools to introduce the concept of teaching strategies for three compulsory subjects - Arabic, Islamic and Qatar History.
The workshop was held at Spectra Global School in Duhail by Private Schools officer Entesar al-Mohanadi and Adnan Abuhlayel.
Shamma Ibrahim al-Mohannadi and Elham al-Qayed from the MoEHE were also present, according to a statement.
Al-Mohanadi began the workshop highlighting the importance of the implementation and usage of different teaching strategies in all schools.
Abuhlayel spoke about how to be a good teacher and the need to plan lessons and use of different teaching strategies.
The workshop was received in a very positive way, with representatives of the school providing positive feedback.
Spectra Global School was honoured to host the workshop and thanked the MoEHE and the other schools for their attendance, according to the statement.
