According to a statement by Kahramaa, the index of the number of minutes of electricity loss in the electrical transmission network was recorded at 0.1785 minutes. The index is calculated by dividing the number of subscribers affected by interruptions during the year by the total number of subscribers.
“The technical performance of the electrical network in 2019 witnessed a great improvement and reached unprecedented levels in the history of the electrical system in Qatar's transmission and distribution networks. Kahramaa succeeded in maintaining the continuity of electric current and meeting all the needs of the country round the clock,” the statement noted.
