The rain emergency teams at the different municipalities across the country have worked around the clock to instantly dry out the rain water accumulations to maintain the safety and security of the inhabitants at the residential areas, besides keeping smooth traffic circulation at the main roads and streets of the country.
Accordingly, almost 45mn gallons of water pumped out from the different areas across all the municipalities from Thursday evening until Saturday morning. These were transported in 7,809 batches using 268 tankers, and 25 pumps and with the help of 629 field teams. In addition, all the related reports received by the municipalities' operations rooms were dealt with immediately.
The rain emergency teams started their field work just immediately after the start of the rainfall and their work would continue until all the targeted areas are cleared of rain water accumulations.
