A bilateral Qatar-Ethiopian Business, Investment & Trade Forum will be held in Doha under the patronage of Ethiopian Embassy in Qatar on January 25.
The forum is being organised by KON W.L.L in collaboration with its sister company Backstage for Event Management.
The forum, organisers said, will deepen communication between the business sectors of both the countries and facilitate sharing of expertise between the two sides.
In Qatar, more than 22,000 Ethiopians live, the statement said. The country has a population exceeding 110mn.
Ethiopia has witnessed a very high rate of growth for the past few years due to incentives and facilities offered by the government such as tax exemption and promising investment destination. The country has developed infrastructure of roads, transport channels, shipping and communication.
The statement said they looked forward to Qatar investments in various sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, services, pharmaceuticals and building materials.
Ethiopia is currently one of the largest competitive markets in the region and is home to some of the global organisations.
