His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met at the Amiri Diwan on Monday with the head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Dr Ismail Haniyeh, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting reviewed the most important developments in Palestine. Dr Haniyeh briefed the Amir on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, especially the unfair blockade under which the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are suffering.
He expressed his thanks to the Amir for Qatar's valuable support to the Palestinian people. His Highness the Amir affirmed Qatar's firm and supportive stance for the brotherly Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate national rights.
