Qatar and Nicaragua signed yesterday an agreement for co-operation in the fields of high education and scientific research, to enhance relations and co-operation in these fields,and to strengthen and broaden the ties of friendship.
The agreement was signed by HE the Undersecretary of the Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Nuaimi and the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua Denis Ronaldo Moncada Colindres.
Under the agreement, both sides encourage the co-operation in science, research, and technical education fields, in addition to exchanging visits between the two countries, as well as to participate in academic events and workshops.
The agreement was signed during a meeting held yesterday at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed important topics in the high education and science research fields, as well as means to support and enhance them, including experience exchange and the best established practices in both countries in this regard.
