Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros Co (AAB), the sole distributor of Lexus in Qatar, held an event where journalists were given the opportunity to test-drive some of the latest models of Lexus.
Journalists gathered at the Lexus showroom, where they were welcomed by R K Murugan, AAB acting CEO, and Firas Mufti, senior marketing manager.
The AAB team clarified many of the new features and advanced technology of the new Lexus vehicles that were to be driven by the journalists.
Accompanied by the AAB team, the driving experience started from the Lexus showroom and headed towards the Sealine resort where a ‘fun day’ was held.
While driving the cars, each journalist was accompanied by one Lexus staff member to explain the most important technologies that have been introduced and how they can be used to make the experience of driving a Lexus a rewarding one, “full of sensation and performance”, AAB has said in a statement.
At the end of the event, which lasted more than seven hours, the media guests compared and contrasted most of the vehicles and were able to highlight some of their experiences driving the models. Some of the positive comments revolved around the safety and security elements introduced in Lexus vehicles, as well as the level of stability, the superior control, the powerful performance and the calm interior while driving, the statement added.
The driving event included a wide range of Lexus vehicles, such as the LS, LX, ES, LC, RX, GSF and CT.
