HE the Attorney-General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri on Saturday signed an agreement, on co-operation in the field of combating corruption, with the Anti-Corruption Secretariat, in Ecuador's presidency, in the presence of the Vice-President of Ecuador Otto Ramon Sonnenholzner, who is currently on a visit to Qatar.
Ambassador of Ecuador to Qatar Evonne A-Baki signed the agreement for the Ecuadorean Presidency.
The agreement aims to enhance co-operation in several axes, including combating corruption; developing best practices related to prevention; international co-operation; investigation activities; monitoring corruption cases, providing training and consulting on combating corruption; promoting joint research activities; and exchanging visits of academics and specialists in this field.
