HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah yesterday inaugurated the Ministry of Defence’s pavilion at Darb Al Saai, as part of its Qatar National Day events.
He toured the pavilion in the presence of several ranking officers at the armed forces.
The pavilion includes a variety of activities suitable for all sections.
These include a simulation centre and a field for military parades by the music battalion and tanks, QNA reports.
There will be martial arts activities in addition to a barriers and obstacles track.
There would be coaches at the latter to help train the participants on how to complete the track.
There is also an area for kids aged under five years.
