His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the President of the Republic of Rwanda Paul Kagame, unveiled Monday the monument of the 4th edition of Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award in Kigali Convention Centre' Garden.

President Kagame applauded the unveiling of the sculpture of the fourth edition of the award. agame said that the sculpture symbolises both the openness and the firm resolve needed to prevail in the fight against corruption, expressing pride over placing it in the capital Kigali. Rwanda has already started the anti-corruption journey, so this event will be an encouragement to end it, he added.
Namibian President Hage Geingob, Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki and FIFA president Infantino attended the monument unveiling. A number of members of the Supreme Committee and the Advisory Council of the award also attended.
The monument, shaped as a hand of steel, symbolises the solidarity of all the nations of the world as one hand, for all co-operating in order to combat corruption.
