As part of its efforts to promote the culture of health, safety and environment among the employees and members of the community, Mowasalat (Karwa) held a two-day event under the title "Care for your life" at its headquarters.
The event, aimed at spreading the culture of keeping good behaviour and lifestyle, was organised in co-operation with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) and other stakeholders. According to a statement, issued by the company, its employees and drivers participated in the event.

Mowasalat believes in a comprehensive safety approach that includes both mind and body safety as it cares about meeting all requirements, from health care to safety at work, the release said.
The activities of the first day began with many presentation and activities including basic medical check-ups and presentations on health, safety and proper nutrition as well as providing first aid training.
Head of Occupational Safety and Health Department at MADLSA made a detailed presentation of updated rules and regulations on occupational safety and health on the occasion.
The activities included yoga exercises and various health and wellbeing tips like ‘try to get eight hours sleep per night, sleep-debt stresses your body and mind, healthy food and exercise are vital, find positive ways to deal with stress at work and home, managing a stressful situation well can make you feel good, early reporting of injury, as well as tips on safe and defensive driving.
Also, Mowasalat HSE provided live presentations and training to extinguish fires and types of fire extinguishers and methods of their use.
Khaled Kafoud, Mowasalat media and governmental relations manager, said that the company is committed to ensuring compliance with legislative and statutory obligations. “The company places the highest value on health, safety and well-being of its employees. Through such events, we aim to enhance productivity at work through cultural bonding and social connections among the employees, create a healthy and interactive work environment that copes with international standards,” he added.
