Ten people have died in Chile after a bus overturned
and slid down a ravine, according to local media.
The accident happened close to the commune of Taltal in the country's
north.
The bus departed on Sunday night from the city Antofagasta and was
headed south to the capital Santiago de Chile, some 1,400 kilometres
away, with about 50 passengers on board.
The accident happened about 200 kilometres south of Antofagasta,
according to broadcaster 24 Horas.
Regional police said that emergency services were at the scene
following the accident.
