HE the Shura Council Speaker Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud arrived Monday in Djibouti City, heading Qatar's delegation participating in the 42nd Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the African Parliamentary Union (APU), slated for November 26-29. The Qatari delegation accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Djibouti International Airport by the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Djibouti Mohamed Ali Hamad and the charge d'affaires at the Qatar embassy Faisal bin Rashid al-Nuaimi. The conference will discuss several topics on the agenda, including co-operation between the APU and other regional and international parliamentary unions.
