Mowasalat will host the annual event on road safety starting on November 26 at the Traffic Department Auditorium.  
The theme of the three-day event is ‘Ensuring safe mobility of people and goods during major events in Qatar.’
The event is held under the patronage of HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti, in collaboration with International Road Transport Union (IRU), the National Safety Committee and Traffic Department.  
National and international road safety and mobility experts and practitioners covering the latest innovations on education, governance and engineering dealing with road and vehicles will attend the event. 
On the first day, a seminar will cover national safety vision, policies, mobility challenges for 2022 FIFA World Cup, industry trends and innovative solutions.  
The second day will host a workshop on government challenges in enabling safe mobility, developments and the latest industry standards in transporting dangerous goods. 
It will end with the ‘Youth Forum’ addressing career prospects in the road transport and logistics industry and driving the talent management sector which provides abundant career and business opportunities.  
The third day will witness a technical visit to the Hamad Port where the phenomenal progress and development, adaptation of industry best practices and innovation will be explained to the visitors.

The IRU Academy works on achieving sustainable development, easing of road transport all over the world and linking the transport sector with other sectors. It also works to exchange knowledge through the display of innovations, technologies, and the broad range of discoveries in the transport sector with regards to job opportunities, while identifying new transport projects.
