HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida al-Kaabi held talks in Seoul on Monday with Sung Yun-Mo, South Korea’s Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations and enhancing co-operation between Qatar and Korea in the energy field.
Al-Kaabi concluded his one-day visit to Seoul with a number of meetings with senior executives of major South Korean companies, which focused on enhancing relations and co-operation in the field of energy, particularly in the LNG industry.
The discussions included separate meetings with Chae Hee-Bong, president and CEO, Kogas; Sam H Ka, president and CEO, Hyundai Heavy Industries; Lee Seug Geun, president and CEO, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering and Nam JO, president and CEO, Samsung Heavy Industries.
