Safari Group aiming to expand in near future: managing director

Safari Group is eyeing expansion in Qatar market with more outlets in the near future, especially in the suburban areas of Doha and other cities in the country.
“Doha is already saturated with several hypermarkets and therefore we are aiming at other areas to expand our network. That is one of the reasons we have launched our fourth outlet in Al Khor,” Safari Group managing director Aboobacker Madappatt said yesterday.
Madappatt noted that Wakrah is one of the areas of expansion in the very near 
“We are planning for a major facility in Wakrah area as it is a fast growing city. A large number of people have moved to Wakrah in the recent times. Plans are already underway for our outlet and we hope that it will be ready soon to benefit the customers in that region,” explained 
Director and general manager Zainul Abideen said that Safari Group in the last 15 years of existence in Qatar has ‘got the goodwill of the society, both Qataris as well as the expatriates with quality products at very reasonable prices’. 
“We are promoting all the national products in a big way. We have a wide range of Qatari products and we are also in the process of launching some of the local vegetables through our outlets. We will also be selling Safari brand ‘Made in Qatar’ products very soon,” noted, Abideen.
As for the new outlet in Al Khor, the officials said that the people of the area can expect great offers and low prices as Safari Group ‘takes care of all the sections of the society’.
“We are opening this branch with great offers and exciting products with unbelievable prices. We are committed to keep up with our quality and honour the trust that our patrons have on us,” added Madappatt.
