Auto Class Cars, the authorised general distributor of Maxus in Qatar and a subsidiary company of Nasser Bin Khaled Holding, has introduced the new Maxus T60 with automatic transmission in Qatar.
The Maxus T60 is now available at the Auto Class Cars showroom in two options – 4X2 and 4x4 drive – to meet the different needs of customers.
The T60 is a pickup truck produced by Chinese automaker Maxus since November 2016.
“The T60 takes design inspiration from the strength, power, and grace of that of a ‘bull’ in western mythology. It proved its capabilities on winding roads, washboard roads as well as mountain climbing, during which it displayed excellent performance in comparison to other pickups in its category,” a press statement noted.
In the interior, the new Maxus T60 “is distinguished by its higher-quality fabric seats that makes the cabin more appealing. Besides, it is equipped with state-of-the-art technology features including a 7” display screen with multiple functions such as radio, MP5, Mirror Link, Bluetooth and USB”.
The features are complemented by a multi-function steering, tough start engine button, review camera, cruise control, an automatic anti-glare rear-view mirror, a reminder system for driver and a monitoring system.
The auto AC and second-row A/C vent provide “maximum comfort” to all passengers.
In terms of safety, the new T60 has airbags on its sides so all passengers are always well-protected.
Moreover, a string of safety configurations, including the Driver Fatigue Monitor System, ensures that T60 drivers have comprehensive protection in extreme road conditions.
The 6-automatic transmission Maxus T60 is powered by an NLE 2.0 Turbo engine featuring 165KW of power and maximum 360NM of torque. The manual transmission T60 is powered by a 2.4-litre Inline 4 naturally aspirated petrol with 136 horsepower and 5-speed manual transmission.
Safety is a vital part of the T60, which is why it adopts both active and passive safety systems to avoid any potential problems.
The Maxus T60 became the first Chinese-manufactured utility to score 5 stars on the ANCAP (Australasian New Car Assessment Programme) rating, making it one of the safest cars in its category.
With top scores in all segments, the ANCAP report shows the Maxus T60 scored high grades in all tests with an overall score of 35.46 out of 37.
The 6-automatic transmission Maxus T60 and the full range of pickup trucks are at the Auto Class Showroom on Salwa Road.
Customers can visit the showroom from Saturday to Thursday, 8am-9pm, and on Friday from 5pm-9pm.
