HE the Chief of Staff of Qatari Armed Forces Lt General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanim has concluded his visit to Italy and Turkey.
In Italy, the Chief of Staff met the chairman of Italian Joint Chiefs of Staff General Enzo Vecciarelli, where he was awarded the Order of Honour of the Italian high staff.
HE Lt General (Pilot) al-Ghanim visited the helicopter project (NH90).
The meeting was attended by Qatar's ambassador to Italy Abdulaziz bin Ahmed al-Malki, Qatar's military attache in Italy Brigadier General Hilal Ali al-Mohannadi, and a number of senior military officers from both sides.
During his visit to Turkey, HE the Chief of Staff Lt General (Pilot) al-Ghanim met separately with Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar and Chief of General Staff of Turkey General Yasar Guler.
During the meetings, they discussed aspects of joint military co-operation between the two sides.
