HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali, Qatar Charity (QC) chairman Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani and officials from the Ministry of Culture and Sports and QC join participants at the Doha Youth Camp for Volunteering and Humanitarian Activities, that concluded yesterday in Doha, the capital of Islamic Youth 2019, held under the slogan ‘The Nation with its Youth’. Youth delegations from 53 countries participated in the camp. During the closing ceremony held in Darb Al Saai, participants were honoured and certificates of participation and training were distributed. Earlier in the day, participants at Al Duhail Sports Club had simulated what they had practised during the camp on how to deal with the catastrophic effects of earthquakes through the establishment of a crisis management cell, which co-ordinates between the parties involved and the intervention of the search and rescue team, the rapid assessment team, the emergency aid team and the co-ordination and support team then intervened.
