Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Affairs of Jordan Dr Ayman al-Safadi has met with Qatar’s ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, as well as issues of common interest.
Al Khor family park to be closed temporarily
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has announced a temporary closure of the Al Khor family park. In a tweet yesterday, the MME said the closure is being implemented to carry out development and maintenance works at the park in order to ensure safety of the public. The park will remain closed until the completion of the ongoing maintenance works, the tweet adds.
Qatari envoy to Kazakhstan presents credentials
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Shahrat Nurishyev, received a copy of the credentials of the ambassador of Qatar to Kazakhstan Abdulaziz bin Sultan al-Rumaihi yesterday. Shahrat Nurishyev wished the ambassador of Qatar success in his work, and bilateral relations further development.
Qatar condemns attack on Canadian mining firm convoy
Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a convoy transporting workers of a Canadian mining company in Burkina Faso, causing dozens of deaths and injuries. In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism. - QNA
