HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, met US Defence Secretary Mark Asper at the Pentagon on Wednesday.
They discussed issues of common interest, particularly military and strategic relations and ways of enhancing them. The talks also dealt with the latest developments in the region.
Qatari Military Attache in Washington, Brigadier General Nawaf bin Mubarak al-Thani, attended the meeting.
