HE the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah Alkhater has stressed the strength and development of the strategic relations between Qatar and the United States of America.
During her visit to the US, HE Alkhater held meetings with a number of officials in the White House and the Department of State. She has also participated in the meeting of the Joint Advisory Board of Georgetown University in Washington DC and held a number of meetings and interviews with representatives of the academic community and the media.
During these meetings and interviews, she noted the legacy of the World Cup hosted by the State of Qatar, stressing that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 reflects the image of Arab world that reaches for life and celebrates joy.
"For 50 years, the Arab people in many countries have been deprived of their fundamental right to a dignified life," she said.
HE Alkhater pointed out to the role of joint efforts with American institutions such as the branches of American universities in Education City in Qatar, in the scientific openness in the region.
