Leading Qatari IT solutions provider malomatia has announced a partnership with Microsoft that will enable malomatia to enhance its service delivery and leverage the power of the intelligent cloud for all businesses in the country across every scale and industry.
This was announced at the ongoing Qatar IT Conference and Exhibition (Qitcom 2019) in Doha.
Speaking at the nation’s top IT trade show, senior malomatia representatives explained how, using Microsoft Azure, the partnership will offer its clients the prospect of true digital transformation. Public and private sector organisations in the country will now be able to innovate more freely – engaging customers, empowering employees, optimising operations and reinventing business models, a press statement notes.
“We, at malomatia, are excited to embark on the next phase of our journey enabling the government and businesses to drive their digital transformation with solutions offered by Microsoft. We see Microsoft Azure being the platform to drive digital transformation, business optimisation and innovation in Qatar. With our domain expertise and track record of executing sectoral digital transformation, this partnership will pave the way for the development of Safe Smart Cities in Qatar, working in alignment with Qatar National Vision (QNV) 2030,” said Yousef al-Naama, CEO of malomatia.
Malomatia and Microsoft will work together on leveraging Azure for capacity-building initiatives while upskilling and reskilling Qatar’s workforce. Through this, the two companies will play a key role in Qatar’s digital revolution and the diversification of its economy, as they collaborate on formulating and delivering disruptive digital offerings aligned with QNV 2030. The efforts will focus on developing and sustaining local and regional IT delivery and domain expertise in the government, healthcare and education sectors, and increasing the contribution of the national technology industry to Qatar’s GDP growth, the statement explains.
“As part of our commitment to develop and enable the local partner ecosystem in Qatar, we are excited to announce this strategic partnership with malomatia,” said Lana Khalaf, country manager, Microsoft Qatar. “The Microsoft intelligent cloud and our innovative technologies will empower them to accelerate digital transformation for their customers in the country and transform their services.”
