Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani at the Presidential Palace in Ankara Wednesday.
At the outset of the meeting, HE the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and his wishes of lasting health and success to the Turkish president, and further development and growth to the brotherly Turkish people.
For his part, Erdogan reciprocated his greetings and wishes of happiness and success to the Amir, and further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of strategic co-operation between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them in various fields, in addition to a number of regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by Turkey's Vice President Fuat Oktay, a number of Turkish ministers and the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
