Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) Heavy Equipment, a subsidiary of NBK Group, has introduced new Zoomlion Forklifts in Qatar.
The new Zoomlion Forklifts “are perfect for heavy operations in various fields”, NBK Heavy Equipment has said in a press statement.
The new Zoomlion 3-Tonne and 5-Tonne diesel forklifts from China are the latest additions to the NBK Heavy Equipment portfolio, which includes a wide range of equipment and products.
Both forklifts are available at Nasser Bin Khaled Heavy Equipment on Salwa Road.

Zoomlion offers diesel forklifts ranging from 2.5 tonnes to 16 tonnes, LPG-powered forklifts from 1.5 tonnes to 3.5 tonnes, electric reach truck, electric forklifts, electric entry-level pallet truck & stacker, electric walkie pallet truck & stacker, electric ride on pallet truck & stacker, and electric tow tractor & order picker.
The new models available in Qatar are the Zoomlion FD30H (3 tonnes) and FD50 (5 tonnes) diesel forklifts that are known for their “reliability and durability with minimum cost of operations and maintenance”.
“Made with innovative and improved materials with a focus on ergonomic design, Zoomlion forklifts are safe, comfortable and practical. They are equipped with Japanese Mitsubishi engine and has a top-class cooling system with excellent radiators that improve the heat dissipation effect by 10% more than traditional copper radiators,” the statement elaborates.
The overhead guard is heightened to further improve the operator’s driving space.
Also, international advanced ergonomic technology is adopted, the operation system design is optimised and the tilting cylinder is lowered down to further increase the driver’s operating room.
The Zoomlion FD30H has protective measures that are provided for the parking brake.
The cushioned cylinders are adopted for working devices and lines are rearranged to increase the field of sight and improve the operation safety.
The centre of gravity is optimised to provide favourable bearing capability and stability.
Also, an independent main side roller guide structure is adopted for the mast to improve its reliability and stability significantly during mast lifting.
The Zoomlion FD50 diesel forklift engine comes with large torque and capacity to meet different operational demands.
Its lifting system is equipped with up and down buffer cylinders, which reduce shock and vibration efficiently, while the hydraulic system is equipped with the throttling valve, which makes operations safe and reliable.
“They work with high efficiency and good grade ability and can be operated in bad working conditions. The seat, backrest and steering wheel tilt angle are adjustable, which leaves more legroom. The portable gearshift is quick to shift and easy to operate,” the statement adds.
