Abdullah bin Ghanim Abdullah al-Binali al-Mohannadi has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Arrayah Arabic daily, a sister publication of Gulf Times. Al-Mohannadi will take charge on November 3.
A law graduate from the Beirut Arab University, al-Mohannadi has also got a Masters in International Law from Spain, in addition to a diploma in public relations and media from Houston, USA; comprehensive journalism diploma from Al Jazeera Training Center; executive management diploma (Qatar) and sports management diploma from Cairo University in co-operation with FIFA.
He is a board member of Qatar Chamber Services Committee.
Al-Mohannadi worked as a journalist in different positions until he was appointed managing editor of Al Watan Arabic newspaper in 2015, a position he held until now.
He has taken part in various media events, forums and training courses in a number of Arab and world countries, besides his participation at various local and international conferences. He has to his credit a number of published articles addressing key issues of public concern.
