Asian champions Qatar climbed five places to 57th in the world in the latest FIFA world rankings, released on Thursday.
Qatar is placed fifth among Asian teams, with Iran occupying the top spot at No 27.
Belgium continued to lead the FIFA rankings with 1,755 points, followed by world champions France with 1,276 points. Brazil were third with 7,155 points, while England were in the fourth place with 1,651 points.
