Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) recently held an awards ceremony at its Al Sadd Branch to conclude the 2019 Cards Summer Campaign.
The winners were previously selected in a draw conducted in the presence of an official representative from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, as well as QIB representatives.
During the ceremony, QIB awarded two Visa card Grand Prize winners, Mohamed al-Asiry and Saoud Saif al-Azab, with a brand-new Lexus LX570.
It also awarded two MasterCard Grand Prize winners, Mohamed Yousef al-Kuwari and Hamad Rashid al-Azba, with a QR100,000 cheque for each winner.
Al-Asiry said, “I still can’t believe that I won a brand new LX570 simply by being a QIB customer and using my Visa card. This is a dream come true thanks to QIB.”
Al-Azab said, “What a great surprise. I’m now the owner of a new wonderful car without having to do anything but use my QIB cards. This is great.”
Al-Kuwari said, “Thank you QIB. You’re an amazing bank that is always rewarding me. I will continue to be a loyal customer and definitely recommend you to family and friends.”
Al-Azba said, “I’m so happy to be a QIB customer and have the opportunity every year to win such great prizes for just using my MasterCard.”

A total of 94 Visa card winners, and 15 MasterCard winners were awarded during this summer campaign.
QIB Visa and MasterCard holders that made domestic or international purchases between July 1 and September 30, 2019 had the chance to win daily cash prizes worth QR5,000 each for Visa cardholders and weekly prizes of QR15,000 each for MasterCard cardholders.
