The Ministry of Municipality Environment (MME) on Wednesday continued its raids and caught violations with two restaurants at Madinat Khalifa South and Bin Mahmoud.
The inspectors from the Health Control Department of the MME found the restaurant at Madinat Khalifa South keeping a large quantity of chicken at room temperature in unhygienic conditions in violation of the guidelines.
The restaurant at Bin Mahmoud was caught for storing large quantities of cooked meat at room temperature.
An unknown food item packed in a black bag failed to meet the required specifications.
Notices were issued to the two restaurants under the Law No 8 of 1990 on the regulation of human food control.
