Qatar has participated in the 22nd meeting of the ministers concerned with municipal affairs in the GCC, which was held on Wednesday, at the GCC Advisory Board of the Supreme Council, in Muscat, Oman.
Qatar's delegation was headed by HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment HE Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Subaie.
The meeting discussed a number of topics, including the decisions of the Supreme Council on voluntary work and the strategy of the joint Gulf municipal action, and the decision of the Council of Ministers on strategic urban planning, in addition to the GCC Municipal Award, the Gulf Building Code, municipal databases, workshops and specialised training programs in the field of Municipal work, as well as highlighting the joint Gulf municipal work in regional and international forums.
