Ooredoo, the region’s leading enabler of digital business innovation, held an event for business customers to explore its Data Centre and Cloud Services, and the solutions offered by international partners.
The event brought together a number of Ooredoo’s partners to showcase the many business solutions offered by the telecom leader.
An industry expert from IDC, the leading research company, gave a market overview and industry insights into current trends, customer challenges and service providers’ strategy.
Following this introductory session, Ooredoo presented its Data Centre and cloud capabilities.
Israel Esteban Marti, the executive director of technology at beIN Media Group, and Liaqat Mirza Ali, the head of infrastructure in Muntajat, also joined Ooredoo on stage.
Both strategic customers already benefit from Ooredoo’s Data Centre and Cloud services and presented how Ooredoo Business supports their organisations through the implementation of sophisticated solutions.
Ooredoo also utilised the event to introduce two key new services – Azure Stack, a hybrid cloud application modernisation platform from the Ooredoo Qatar Data Centre in partnership with Microsoft, and the Ooredoo Cloud Backup – before chief business officer Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser al-Thani closed the morning’s proceedings with a keynote speech and business customers moved on to exploring the many booths at the event.
Ooredoo’s Data Centre and Cloud Services portfolio covers the needs of all business customers from small to large, across any industry and vertical including governmental.
Ooredoo chief operating officer Yousuf Abdullah al-Kubaisi said of the event: “With so many businesses in Qatar increasingly reliant on cloud-based services, in pursuit of digitalisation goals, it’s vital that we as a business respond to this and provide practical, logical solutions for their needs.
“We’re proud to boast a stable of renowned international partners with whom we work to offer these solutions, and this event offered the ideal opportunity for our business customers to see exactly how we and our partners can work together to provide innovative digital, cloud-based solutions for their needs.”
