The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, is participating in the ‘8th Qatar Leadership Conference’ from today (Oct 17) until October 19.
The conference is organised by ‘Thimun Qatar,’ a partnership between Qatar Foundation and ‘Thimun Foundation’ (The Hague International Model United Nations) to support UN model programmes and conferences in schools across the region.
During the three-day conference, Bedaya Centre entrepreneurs’ advisers Mahmoud al-Mahmoud and Hanane Hanzi will be hosting the workshop, ‘Guiding you though your Entrepreneurship Journey’ from 4.25pm to 5.15pm (October 17) at Hall 103, while Ahmad al-Saygh will be hosting the workshop ‘Green Entrepreneurship’ at 1.15pm (Oct 18) at Hall 103.
In addition, ‘Dukan Bedaya’ will be present in an exhibition on the sidelines of the conference.
A percentage of its sales revenues will be donated to a charity organisation.
Bedaya Centre general manager Reem al-Suwaidi said, “We are delighted to be part of the conference through two specialised workshops conducted by our prominent advisers that aim to enhance the awareness of future leaders in diverse fields, in addition to the participation of Dukan Bedaya.
“By highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship in various sectors, we seek to enrich the participants’ information on the importance of this field and guide them with the right steps that will inspire them to start their own business and future projects.”
