The Turkish Defense Ministry said on Saturday that the number of PKK/PYD-YPG gunmen neutralized since the start of Turkey's Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria, has risen to 459.
On Wednesday, Turkey launched Operation Peace Spring east of the Euphrates River in northern Syria to clear it of militants and establish a safe zone for Syrian refugees to return to their country and bring peace and stability to the region.
After midnight, US forces marched on a Syrian-Turkish border in the city of Qamishli, which is under the control of the PKK, northeast of Syria.
Five armored vehicles carrying the American flag conducted a patrol in the neighborhoods of Qamishli adjacent to the border, local sources told Turkey's Anadolu.
The sources pointed out that the cars were traveling very slowly on the border, and continued patrol for several hours.
