Ibn Ajayan Projects (IAP) has announced the winners of the 2019 Asian Town Shopping Festival.
The prizes include three cars, whose winners are Amzad Hossain Abdul Monnan, who has won a Skoda Fabia; Viswakumar Vavachan, who has won a 2019 Suzuki Vitara; and Chakra Bahdur Thapa, who has won a Mahindra XUV500.
The rest of the 46 winners have received prizes such as TV, mobile phones, home theatres, digital cameras and microwave ovens.
All the winners are Asian expatriates, and many of them are workers in the Industrial Area, IAP said in a statement.
The Asian Town Shopping Festival was a three-month-long initiative held under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, with IAP organising the festival at Asian Town for the fourth time.
This year, people who made purchases for a minimum of QR50 from the official participating shops at Plaza Mall and the Cricket Stadium Complex were eligible to get a coupon for the raffle draw.
