University Expo (UniExpo) 2019, aimed at students aged 16 years and above, their parents, school counsellors, principals and career advisers, as well as professionals looking to further advance their academic credentials, will take place on October 16 and 17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.

UniExpo offers inspirational seminars, by local and international speakers, on academic paths and career selection for students, providing them with pertinent information that could help them make wise decisions for their future. It is also a perfect platform for professionals who would like to pursue their executive education by joining prestigious postgraduate courses.

Alan Kelly, commercial director, Informa Tharawat, said, “We are very excited to be running the ninth edition of UniExpo Qatar, it is the only event in Qatar that brings together such a large number of education institutions.”

“The event is a unique platform for high school students and their parents to prepare them for a new phase of their life. Through one-on-one interactions with university representatives from all around the world, our visitors get all the information they need that is related to their tertiary education such as life as a student, scholarship programmes, managing finances and studying abroad,” he added.

University Expo Qatar will witness the participation of more than 100 leading universities and education providers from around the world including the largest contingents of universities based in Qatar, such as Community College of Qatar, Doha Institute of Graduate Studies, College of the North Atlantic, Qatar Foundation, Education City, Northwestern University in Qatar, HEC Paris in Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar and Qatar University.

Over 15 countries will also be represented, including Qatar, the US, France, UK, Malaysia, Italy, India, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Oman, Turkey and North Cyprus. International universities showcasing at University Expo Qatar include University of Aberdeen, Wright State University, Virginia Tech, Swansea University, Middlesex University, Durham University, and the Lebanese American University, to name a few.

In its ninth year, UniExpo has Qatar Chamber as its strategic partner, Akhlaquna as silver exhibitor, and The Great Indian Education Fair as the Indian partner.
