HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali, met on Monday with Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) Chairman, former Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini, SIGA CEO Emmanuel Medeiros and Italian ambassador to Qatar Pasquale Salzano during their participation on the first day of the Inter-regional Sports Integrity Summit (Doha 2019).
Qatar is hosting the first summit of its kind in the region to shed light on the seriousness of corruption in sports and to develop solutions by encouraging countries to adopt the international standard legislation developed by the global alliance.
