Safari Hypermarket has announced that it is launching the Kuttanadan Food Festival today. As part of the festival, the Safari Bakery & Hot Food section “is bringing to customers the flavourful Kuttanadan cuisine, and there will be every authentic delicacy that one could crave for,” the retailer has said in a press statement.
The festival will offer dishes such as Vembanadan Kozhi (chicken) Biryani, Kappa, Fish Mappas, Karimeen Pollichathu (pearl spot), Njandu (crab) Curry, Kallummakkaya (mussel) Ularthiyathu, authentic fish curry and beef curry, etc, for customers to savour, the statement notes.
The promotion will be available at Safari Mall – Abu Hamour and Safari Hypermarket – Salwa Road. In addition to Kuttanadan cuisine, a variety of salads, fresh jams and other delicacies are available at “pocket-friendly prices for customers”. Also, there are special offers and promotions in the Grocery and Frozen Food sections. Meanwhile, Safari has announced that is launching a “unique and one-of-its-kind promotion” – Safari Go Green, Grow Green. 
It is for the first time in Qatar that such an initiative has been organised, the statement points out. The promotion has been organised in association with ‘Qatar Group of Farms’, which aims to “promote organic farming with the least expectation of receiving any profit”, according to Safari.  
Customers will find various garden tools, hoses, flower pots, watering cans, etc, as well as different plants and vegetables as part of the promotion.
Customers can also participate in the ‘Safari Win 15 Toyota Fortuner Cars’ mega promotion at any Safari outlet by purchasing items worth QR50 and above. The third lucky draw of the promotion will take place on September 22 at Safari Mall – Abu Hamour.
