His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued on Sunday Amiri Decision No 33 of 2019 appointing Khamis Rashid Mahdi al-Kaabi as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Costa Rica.

His Highness the Amir issued Amiri Decision No 34 of 2019 appointing Faisal Abdullah Hamad Abdullah al-Henzab as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan.

His Highness the Amir also issued Amiri Decision No 35 of 2019 appointing Mubarak Abdulrahman Mubarak al-Nasr as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan.

His Highness the Amir issued Amiri Decision No 36 of 2019 appointing Battal Mijeb Battal Mohamed al-Dossari as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Argentina.

The decisions are effective starting from their date of publication in the official gazette.

Amir congratulates El Salvador president

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, HH Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent on Sunday cables of congratulations to El Salvador President Nayib Bukele on the anniversary of his country's Independence Day.

Amir condoles with Spain's king

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and His Highness Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani sent on Sunday cables of condolences to King Felipe VI of Spain on the victims of the floods which hit southeastern Spain, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani also sent a cable of condolences to Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on the victims of the floods which hit southeastern Spain, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
