His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received at the Amiri Diwan Office on Sunday credentials of six new ambassadors to Qatar: Jordan's Zaid Mufleh al-Lawzi, Sri Lanka's Kithsiri Athulathmudali, Mexican Graciela Gomez Garcia, Costa Rica Alvaro Mariano Segura Avila, Guinea's Lancine Ani Toure and Sweden's Anders Bengtsson.

The Amir welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success in their duties and the relations between Qatar and their countries further development and growth.

The ambassadors conveyed to the Amir greetings of their countries' leaders and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people. Earlier, the ambassadors were accorded official reception ceremonies at the Amiri Diwan.
