Qatar’s pavilion at the ongoing 2019 International Horticultural Exhibition in Beijing has received some 1.8mn visitors since its inauguration on April 29, according to the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME).
In a statement on Thursday, the MME also said a delegation of officials and around 100 representatives of various Chinese tourism companies visited the Qatari pavilion at the expo.
The delegation was received by officials at the pavilion and taken on a tour of the place in order to familiarise them with tourist attractions and projects in Qatar, the statement noted.
The pavilion was jointly set up by MME and the Qatari embassy in China.
The Beijing Expo will conclude on October 7.
