The State of Qatar called on all Yemeni parties to prevail the voice of wisdom and the interest of its people and not to tear apart the social fabric, as well as to stop immediately the military escalation and return to the outcome of the comprehensive national dialogue agreed upon by political forces and all spectrums of the Yemeni people.
In a statement Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Qatar is following with great sorrow and sadness the military developments and bloody confrontations in Aden and Abyan, adding that the war in Yemen has been prolonged and the human tragedy deepened in such a way that it cannot be overlooked.
The statement added the recent developments are a clear indication of the futility of this war and the continued tampering of the resources of the Yemeni people.
