His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Thursday received a written message from Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, pertaining to brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of developing and strengthening them.
The message also dealt with issues of common concern.
It was delivered by Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker Marzouq bin Ali al-Ghanim during a meeting with the Amir at the Amiri Diwan Office.
At the outset of the meeting, the Kuwaiti speaker conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Sabah to the Amir and his wishes of continued health and success to him and further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
In turn, the Amir conveyed his greetings to the Kuwaiti Amir and his wishes of good health to him and further progress and prosperity to the Kuwaiti people.
During the meeting, relations between the two countries and peoples were reviewed.
The meeting was attended by HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud.
