The Committee for Removing Abandoned Vehicles on Wednesday announced that it removed 1,780 abandoned vehicles from the Industrial Area and other places in Qatar during the latest inspection campaign, QNA reported.
The announcement was made during a meeting held by the committee to review the progress of inspection campaigns. The head of the committee, Brigadier Ali Salman al-Hassan al-Mohannadi, stressed the importance of commitment to Law No 18 of 2017 on public hygiene. He also called for continuing work to remove abandoned vehicles in order to maintain public health and to preserve the environment.
