The Albanian capital, Tirana, has witnessed a big reception for the crew of the famous Qatari dhow 'Fath Al Khair 4' touring the coasts of Europe and North Africa to introduce the authentic Qatari maritime heritage and promote the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
The reception was held at Tirana's Skenderbej Square in the presence of Qatar's ambassador to Albania, Ali bin Hamad al-Marri, and the Mayor of Tirana Municipality, Erion Veliaj, who hosted a dinner in honour of the Fath Al Khair 4 crew, and guests, including the ambassador of Kuwait to Albania Fayez Mishari al-Jassim.

In addition, the sports park in the Albanian capital hosted football matches to promote the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, where gifts were distributed to symbolise the championship.
The reception also featured, among several cultural and social events, the playing of the national anthems of Qatar and Albania, as well as welcoming remarks by the Qatari Ambassador to Albania and the Mayor of Durres.
A cultural troupe of the Durres presented Albanian folk dance and music on the occasion which also witnessed a fireworks display to celebrate the arrival of Fath Al Khair 4 and in honour of the guests.
