Dohatna Innovative Distribution recently organised a training workshop on the features and benefits of the newly launched Galaxy Note 10 lineup for Samsung dealers in Qatar.
The Note 10 and Note 10+ have elicited “huge interest in the country during the pre-order period”, prompting Dohatna — the official distributor of Samsung in Qatar — to extend a pre-order purchase benefit for a few more days, the company has said in a press statement. A limited number of Galaxy Buds are now available at all Dohatna Innovative Distribution outlets and a pair will to be given away with each purchase of a Note 10 or Note 10+. The offer is being rolled out on a first-come-first-served basis.
The product training was designed to enable salespersons to develop a deeper understanding of the Note 10 offerings so that they could help customers make the right choice. The workshop covered everything - from the hardware to the technical know-how needed to equip salespersons to address any queries potential customers might have, the statement noted.
“Samsung’s latest Note 10 series has features of some of the most technically advanced smartphones. We want the Note 10 customers to have an elevated experience at the stores — be it for a first-time Samsung user or the most discerning customer. The workshop was meant to do that,” said Mohamed Imran, general manager, Dohatna Innovative Distribution.
He explained that the workshop was aimed at empowering salespersons with product knowledge so that they feel confident and passionate about what they are selling.
Dohatna’s trade marketing manager, Deepak Jayaram, said: “Through the workshop, we brought together sound technical knowledge and good sales behaviour within clearly defined parameters of transparency and honesty. We are sure our customers will appreciate the effort we put into this programme.”
He stressed that the training laid strong emphasis on properly communicating the key features of the Note 10 series to customers.
The S Pen, for instance, turns writing to text and with Bluetooth becomes a remote control. Inside the Note 10, the S Pen continuously charges and, with a six-axis Gyro Sensor, offers touch-free gesture controls. “The Note 10 lineup boasts of several such features. With the training programme, we have made sure our salesforce is in a better position to educate customers about them,” he added.
