The Ministry of Municipality and Environment has announced that catching Kingfish using net will remain banned until October 15.
Fish Wealth Department at the ministry noted that the ban, which began on August 15, is aimed at protecting the stock of species of Kingfish in the country.
Meanwhile, Kingfish could be caught using hooks and hand line, during this period.
