Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani has received the credentials of Saeed bin Mubarak al-Khayarin as ambassador of Qatar to Afghanistan.
During the meeting in Kabul, the ambassador conveyed greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Afghanistan president, wishing him good health and happiness and the government and people of Afghanistan more progress and prosperity.
For his part, President Ghani entrusted the ambassador to convey his greetings to the Amir, wishing the Qatari people further prosperity and progress.
He wished the ambassador success in his new duties to strengthen relations of friendship and co-operation between Qatar and Afghanistan.
Earlier, Afghanistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Salahuddin Rabbani received a copy of the credentials of ambassador Saeed Mubarak al-Khayarin.
Foreign Minister Rabbani wished the ambassador success in his future mission and bilateral relations further development and growth.
