The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), represented by the Department of General Services Affairs of Umm Salal Municipality, recently initiated a massive cleanliness drive.
The six-day campaign was carried in co-ordination with the General Cleaning Department at the western region of the municipality.
During the drive, 100 tonnes of waste and 500 tonnes of discarded tyres were removed from various locations.
