The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial closure of Gharrafat Al-Rayyan Interchange and the service roads along Al- Luqta Street from August 4 to August 10.
The closure that will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to allow the works of the final layer of asphalt on Khalifa Avenue.
Ashghal said Doha and Dukhan-bound exits from Gharrafat Al-Rayyan interchange and southbound Gharrafat Al- Rayyan Street will be closed. The other routes at Gharrafat Al- Rayyan interchange, straight movement between Doha and Dukhan and Gharrafat Al Rayyan Tunnel will remain open for vehicles.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the diversion. Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the speed limits and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
