Israeli occupation forces arrested Wednesday 14 Palestinians, including released prisoners, in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested the secretary of the Fatah movement in the village of Al-Issawiya in Jerusalem Yasser Darwish, after raiding his house, according to the Palestinian news agency.
The occupation authorities practice a policy of collective punishment against the people in Al-Issawiya, including daily incursions, arrests, demolition of facilities and other daily harassment, following clashes that broke out earlier this month and resulted in the martyrdom of a freed prisoner.
In the West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians, including brothers from Tulkarm, after raiding and searching their families' homes. They also arrested four others in Hebron.
Five Palestinians, including three released prisoners, were arrested in Nablus.
In addition, the Israeli occupation forces raided and searched a number of Palestinian prisoners' houses in Silat al-Harithiya and al-Yamoun villages, west of Jenin. No arrests were made.
On the other hand, those forces stormed the Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, and raided a number of Palestinian homes and tampered with their contents.
Moreover, clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers, who fired sound and tear gas bombs at them. No injuries were reported. (QNA)
